Discover Your Future in Solutions-Oriented Environmental Science: Attend 51Թ’s WLW-ECOS Undergraduate Expo!

Calling all environmentally interested undergraduates! 51Թ’s School of Environmental, Coastal, and Ocean Sustainability (ECOS) will host a spring on Tuesday, April 7, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Owl’s Nest, Schmidt Family Complex for Academic and Athletic Excellence, Boca Raton campus.

Students will have the opportunity to engage with student researchers; meet environmental professionals about career and internship opportunities; gain personalized resume feedback from 51Թ’s Career Services; speak with founders and business owners who are leading innovative environmental startups; and view current WLW-ECOS 51Թ’ research poster presentations.

“This event is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate 51Թ to learn about ECOS and the dynamic career paths and internships opportunities that are available,” said Steven Vollmer, Ph.D., director of 51Թ’s School of Environmental, Coastal, and Ocean Sustainability, and professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, Schmidt College of Science. “Our talented 51Թ are poised to become tomorrow’s leaders who are tackling complex environmental issues, and giving 51Թ the chance to network and connect with real-world experiences as undergraduates is critical for their future careers.”
