  • Conduct: A yes an will require a written explanation. Additional information may be requested when your application is under review. Applications will not be fully processed until all conduct issues are cleared.
  • Application status: Once your application has been submitted, you can check your application status online to ensure transcripts and test scores have been received.
  • Residency classification: Your residency classification automatically defaults to non-Florida. After you are admitted, the residency officer will request additional documents by email if needed.

Admission Requirements

Bachelor of Social Work Degree*
3.5 GPA in last 60 credits of BSW Degree
Three letters of recommendations

Personal Statement
No GRE
Full Time Only

*The Advanced Standing Program is available to applicants who have completed their Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree within the last five years. The BSW must have been earned from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program or an equivalent program recognized through CSWEs International Social Work Degree Recognition and Evaluation Service, or must be covered under a memorandum of understanding with international social work accreditors.

*Highly promising applicants who do not precisely meet the GPA admission requirements may petition the MSW Admission Committee for exceptional consideration
