April 6, 2018 - 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Wilkes Honors College hosted its 16th annual Symposium, which showcased 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’ theses and abstracts. The annual event celebrates the academic achievements of its 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, particularly those 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in the Class of 2018. This year’s featured Chastain Guest Lecturer was Shira Chess, Ph.D. whose research interrogates the intersections between gender studies and video game studies. Her research has appeared in Journals such as Critical Studies in Media Communication, New Media & Society, Feminist Media Studies, and Information Communication & Society.
