U-Rise at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Jupiter Accepting Applications

Applications are now open for 51³Ô¹ÏÍø interested in 51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s new Undergraduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement (U-RISE) program funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This program aims to promote diversity in biomedical science by engaging 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in a customized research-intensive undergraduate experience.

U-RISE will be held on 51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s Jupiter Campus in coordination with the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College. However, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø from all campuses and majors related to biomedical research are encouraged to apply.

U-RISE is seeking 51³Ô¹ÏÍø who will be starting their second year at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in the fall or classify as sophomores based on credit hours. Students accepted into this program will be admitted into research-intensive U-RISE courses and workshops, and receive funding that covers tuition, travel, and lab supplies.

Students will receive an annual stipend of $11 thousand.
