Undergraduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement

, Ph.D., a professor of biological sciences in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's ,  Rod Murphey, Ph.D., associate vice president for academic affairs of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's John D. MacArthur Campus and Evelyn Frazier, Ph.D., in 51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s Charles E. Schmidt College of Science were awarded a National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant to fund an Undergraduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement (U-RISE) at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. 

U-Rise will immerse a diverse group of undergraduate 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in scientific training, and prepare them for matriculation into research-based graduate programs.

U-Rise is coming this Fall to 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Jupiter.
