Healthcare Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP)

From Middle School to Medical School

Collaborating with the School District of Palm Beach County, local organizations, university partners, and our faculty, staff, and 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, the College of Medicine has developed HCOP. HCOP provides 51³Ô¹ÏÍø with lessons and activities focusing on biological sciences, career exploration, and clinical exposure while enhancing their college preparedness through coaching, financial literacy, mentoring, professional skills, and research exposure. Participation in HCOP is selective and determined through partnerships with the School District of Palm Beach County and 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College of Science.

Medical Students and Community Engagement

The College of Medicine provides opportunities for our medical 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and our community to collaborate through academic service learning, research, and outreach program leadership positions.
