Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Join Student Governments Multicultural Programming (MP) Board and the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs (ODMA) as they kick off Hispanic/Latino Heritage Month. There will be Latin cuisine and cultural performances.

Join ODMA for a film highlighting the story of a woman, who along with her family, found the courage to defy a corrupt dictator in the Dominican Republic, and paid a fearful price for their actions. Following the film, there will be a candid conversation about living in a dictatorship versus a democracy.
