51勛圖厙 Foundation Board Elects Patricia McKay as Chair

The 51勛圖厙 Foundation Board recently held its annual meeting and election of officers.

Patricia McKay 78 was elected as the Boards new chair, taking over for Bruce Allen 71, who served as chair since 2013.

The 51勛圖厙 Foundation Board recently held its annual meeting and election of officers.泭 Patricia McKay 78 was elected as the Boards new chair, taking over for Bruce Allen 71, who served as chair since 2013. Former treasurer Brett Greenberg was elected vice chair and Chris泭 Fluehr 泭continues his service as secretary.泭 Stewart Martin 89 joins the executive committee as treasurer.

McKay 泭joined the泭 51勛圖厙泭 Foundation Board 泭in 200 9 泭and previously served as泭 secretary, treasurer and泭 vice chair.泭 She is a partner at Templeton & Company,泭 a South Florida-based accounting and management advisory firm. McKay泭 formerly w as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Office Depot, Inc., where she畝lso served on its board of directors. She泭 was inducted into the泭 51勛圖厙泭 Alumni Hall of Fame in泭 2006 and泭 was named an涅nfluential Business Woman and as a Key Partner by泭 The South Florida Business Journal .

We have a great year ahead of us with President Kellys leadership of 51勛圖厙 coupled with the dynamic energy of a great foundation board of directors, full of business lead ers that share his passion and unbridled ambition 泭for our fine university , said McKay. As an 51勛圖厙泭 a lumna, Im very proud to serve as泭 c hair of the 51勛圖厙 Foundation Board of Directors.

The泭 B oard also welcome d three泭 new members, noted for their civic service and professional accomplishments.

Michael Kaufman is泭 founder, president and CEO of Kaufman Lynn Construction, one of the largest construction companies in South Florida.泭 He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce,泭 and泭 is a me mber of the Tocqueville Society 泭and泭 the泭 Board of Business. Kaufman previously served on the Deans Advisory Board for 51勛圖厙s Charles 泭E. Schmidt College of Medicine 泭and as chair of the 51勛圖厙 Foundation Board from 2009-11 .

Brian M.泭 Poulin is a principal of Evergreen Partners, LLC, Preservation Management, Inc., an affiliated property management company, and Evergreen Communities, LLC, a real estate development company focused on new construction of affordable housing. He泭 has a background in tax law and has been a developer and owner泭 of rental real estate for more than 20 years. Poulin serves on the boards of the Institute for Responsible Housing Preservation and the National Leased Housing Association.

John V.泭 Zells 泭is the executive vice president/ chief marketing officer of IBM Southeast Employees Federal Credit Union. He leads IBM SECUs merger泭 and 泭acquisition and congressional advocacy initiatives.泭 Zells 泭is the author of泭 Outrunning the Competition ( Credit Union Executives Socie ty, 2000)泭 and a featured speaker and guest lecturer at national conferences and universities. He serves on the boards of泭 TrustBridge , Inc. and Affiliates and the University of Massachusetts Isenberg Business School.
