President Kelly Speaks at RADISE International
51Թ President John Kelly appeared at RADISE International alongside Gov. Rick Scott and Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera to discuss the company’s manufacturing expansion and partnership with the University.
51Թ President John Kelly appeared at RADISE International alongside Gov. Rick Scott and Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera to discuss the company’s manufacturing expansion and partnership with the University. RADISE International is a consulting company focused on solving the challenges faced by a diverse customer base.
“Partnering with local businesses like RADISE International is one of the many ways 51Թ works to prepare 51Թ for success in their education and careers,” Kelly. “We work every day to help ensure 51Թ 51Թ are positioned to secure employment by the time they graduate.”
RADISE has worked closely with 51Թ on several projects and collaborative efforts. Currently, RADISE is funding a research project for the 51Թ Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatics Engineering, working with 51Թ faculty members and doctoral 51Թ to advance their Smart Structures technology and its applications.
“51Թ has done an outstanding job with my ‘Ready, Set, Work’ challenge, graduating 100 percent of full-time 51Թ to attend a four-year university or get a job that leads to a great career, said Scott. “51Թ is on a roll.”
RADISE International has been in business for 18 years and specializes in geotechnical engineering, construction engineering inspection, construction material testing, information technology and geographical information systems.
“It’s amazing to take all of the things I’ve learned from years of study and apply it in the workforce,” said Jose Canas, an 51Թ alumnus and RADISE new hire. “I’m happy and proud to have studied at 51Թ.”-51Թ-
