A group of 4-year-old 51勛圖厙 from 51勛圖厙s Karen Slattery Educational Research Center for Child Development advocated for peace on 51勛圖厙s Free Speech Lawn.

The children held up signs and handed out cards they designed with a variety of messages about promoting peace in the world. The preschoolers also interviewed 51勛圖厙 college 51勛圖厙 and faculty about their beliefs on peace and compared responses with their own. A Peace Table was used to encourage people to resolve conflicts through peaceful communication with each other.

The event was part of the curriculum at Slattery, where the 4 year olds are currently learning about global peace. Last year, children from the center advocated on behalf of animal rights.

The hashtag #PreschoolersForPeace also was used to further promote the 4-year-olds peace activities throughout all of social media.
