Celebrating the Class of 2020
Thursday, Dec 17, 2020
Today we will begin celebrating the graduation of the largest fall class in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø history. Since we still are unable to gather in person, we have planned a virtual celebration to recognize the accomplishments of these 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, including pre-recorded, on-demand ceremonies for each college. The ceremony videos are available on the college pages of our , along with student and faculty videos, a social media feed and more.
I encourage our graduates, as well as their friends and families, to share their celebration photos or favorite 51³Ô¹ÏÍø memories with us on social media by using #51³Ô¹ÏÍøgrad so that we can celebrate together virtually.
Commencement is a fundamental component of the educational experience and it remains my long-term goal to invite all our fall graduates to return for an in-person ceremony when health and safety guidelines permit. They worked hard and deserve the opportunity to enjoy the pomp and circumstance of a traditional commencement.
Congratulations to the Fall Class of 2020, and Go Owls!
