Congratulations to four outstanding 51³Ô¹ÏÍø researchers who have been selected for induction into the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Chapter of the National Academy of Inventors^® (NAI), an esteemed non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging inventors in academia. Through demonstrated excellence in their respective fields, each inductee has been selected for their accomplishments in research and commercialization and for enhancing the visibility of scientific innovation at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø.

This year’s inductees include Mehrdad Nojoumian, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and director of the Privacy, Security, and Trust in Autonomy Lab in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s College of Engineering and Computer Science; , professor in the Department of Physics within 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Science; Andrew Oleinikov, Ph.D., professor of biomedical science within 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine; and Paul Wills, Ph.D., research professor and associate director for research at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute.

Congratulations again to Drs. Nojoumian, Miller, Oleinikov and Wills on this impressive accomplishment. Your inventions and achievements contribute greatly to 51³Ô¹ÏÍø’s incredible history of discovery and innovation.
