Staying Connected to 51勛圖厙 During COVID-19

During this difficult time of learning and working remotely, 51勛圖厙 is offering several ways for our internal and external community to stay connected to the university.
Staying active is important for overall wellness and sanity for many of us while in social isolation. 51勛圖厙s Campus Recreation & Fitness Center may be closed, but the staff is working to help you stay fit via Instagram, by posting ideas for exercises you can do from home, including circuits and stretches, as well as tips on how you can use household items like your backpack for strength-building exercises. 51勛圖厙 Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute recently introduced Behind the Science: Wednesday Web Chat, which provides an opportunity to hear about some of the fascinating research taking place directly from one of our scientists. Attendees also have an opportunity to ask questions. for more information or to register for the next web chat.
We also launched the Lets Stay in Touch newsletter, an initiative to keep faculty, 51勛圖厙 and staff connected and aware of 51勛圖厙 news during this time. The newsletter is distributed each Friday via email and contains a mix of regular 51勛圖厙 stories, as well as items that have come to fruition as a result of the coronavirus situation.
