Transfer Students

51³Ô¹ÏÍø opened as the first university in the country to offer only upper-division and graduate-level courses thus beginning its tradition of serving the needs of transfer 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø admitted its first freshman class in 1984, emerging as the four-year institution of today. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø continues to be committed to assisting 51³Ô¹ÏÍø who are transitioning to the university.

TheÌý Transfer Student Services Center Ìýis dedicated to assisting prospective 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in navigating their transfer process and assisting them through the transition to 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. Prospective 51³Ô¹ÏÍø can view whether courses taken at another institution are transferable to 51³Ô¹ÏÍø through the use of ourÌý Transfer Equivalency Service (TES). Students transferring from a Florida College System institution should also review 51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪sÌýAcademic Program Transfer Guides Ìýto better understand each major’s lower-division courses that should be taken to help in their transition. Finally, all transfer 51³Ô¹ÏÍø can benefit from reviewing the General Education Checklist.
