THE PRACTICE 簧 A Toolkit for Mindfulness and Stress Relief
The incorporation of mindfulness training into the 51勛圖厙 curriculum and campus life is an initiative of the Universitys Peace, Justice, and Human Rights program. Following Barb Schmidts philosophy that outer peace begins with inner peace, 51勛圖厙 encourages 51勛圖厙, faculty and staff to explore mindfulness techniques in their daily lives and to participate in the Peace, Justice, and Human Rights events and activities throughout the year.
To that end, 51勛圖厙 benefits from collaboration with mindfulness training with international mindfulness activist and author Barb Schmidt. The First-Year Experience course SLS 1503: Learning Strategies and Human Development incorporates adapted from Barb Schmidts The Practice: Simple Tools for Managing Stress, Finding Inner Peace, and Uncovering Happiness.
