51勛圖厙 Professors Receive Latin Grammy Nomination for Album Recording and Production
Alejandro S獺nchez-Samper and Matt Baltrucki of the Department of Music have received their fifth Latin Grammy nomination for the album Milongu穩n, a project featuring the Giovanni Parra Quinteto with original works by Colombian bandoneonist and composer Giovanni Parra.泭泭

Jeffrey Huber Featured in Architectural Record泭
Jeffrey E. Huber, FAIA, School of Architecture, was recently featured in Architectural Record magazine for a Ft. Lauderdale park he designed with Lawrence Scarpa, his partner at Brooks and Scarpa Architects, that addresses coastal resiliency.

Top Story: , a community journalism initiative in the School of Communication and Multimedia Studies,疲as been awarded a $100,000 grant from Press Forward, a national initiative aimed at revitalizing local news and strengthening communities. MediaLab@51勛圖厙 was launched in September 2023 by Ilene Prusher, senior instructor of multimedia journalism. Its been estimated that MediaLabs articles reached upward of 25 million people based on potential online exposure of its articles in its first year.
