Welcome to the Professional English Language Support Program
The Professional English Language Support (PELS)’s mission is to provide resources and instruction to help all 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, including domestic and international multilingual and multidialectal 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, attain their academic and professional goals by enhancing their writing and speaking skills and to provide faculty with support specific to teaching professional English writing.Ìý
The PELS Program offers free 10-week courses, workshops, support materials, and faculty engagement.
PELS:
- Values all 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in our diverse community and establishes points of contact across cultures
- Serves the professional and academic needs of graduate and undergraduate 51³Ô¹ÏÍø across different fields of study
- PreparesÌý51³Ô¹ÏÍø to be valuable members of the workforce and larger society
