Phi Kappa Phi Awards and Criteria

Student Scholarships

Each year, the members of Chapter 128 award:

  • One $2,500 scholarship to an 51³Ô¹ÏÍø student at 51³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s annual Honors Convocation. Nominations are submitted by the college of enrollment and selection is made by a University committee with representation from Phi Kappa Phi.
  • Up to seven $1,000 scholarships to new PKP initiates graduating from 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and who seek to enroll at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø full time in masters and doctoral programs. Applications are included online. Selection is made by the Chapter Scholarship/Fellowship Committee.

National Fellowships

The Chapter nominates one student member for the national fellowship competition each year. These highly competitive awards provide up to fifty-four Fellowships ofÌý$8,500Ìýeach, six atÌý$20,000Ìýeach and two atÌý$35,000Ìýeach are awarded to members entering the first year of graduate or professional study. Application forms are available at theÌý .Ìý

The sole 51³Ô¹ÏÍø nominee is selected by the Chapter Scholarship Committee. The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø chapter’s deadline for this fellowship is Friday, 20 March 2026Ìýby the end of business day.

For the chapter’s initial rounds of deliberations, please submit all required documents (except official transcript) to the Chair of the Scholarship Committee,ÌýDr. Cheryl Jarvis. Please have the two recommenders email the letters directly to Dr. Jarvis.

The Chapter also nominates qualified members for National Phi Kappa Phi awards and competitions.
